The grid-gap CSS property is a shorthand property for grid-row-gap and grid-column-gap specifying the gutters between grid rows and columns.

Syntax

This property is specified as a value for <'grid-row-gap'> followed optionally by a value for <'grid-column-gap'>. If <'grid-column-gap'> is omitted, it’s set to the same value as <'grid-row-gap'>.

<'grid-row-gap'> and <'grid-column-gap'> are each specified as a <length> or a <percentage>.

Values

<length>
Is the width of the gutter separating the grid lines.
<percentage>
Is the width of the gutter separating the grid lines, relative to the dimension of the element.
