MDN’s new design is in Beta! A sneak peek: https://blog.mozilla.org/opendesign/mdns-new-design-beta/

WebGL2RenderingContext.createQuery()

This is an experimental technology
Because this technology's specification has not stabilized, check the compatibility table for usage in various browsers. Also note that the syntax and behavior of an experimental technology is subject to change in future versions of browsers as the specification changes.

The WebGL2RenderingContext.createQuery() method of the WebGL 2 API creates and initializes WebGLQuery objects, which provide ways to asynchronously query for information.

Syntax

WebGLQuery gl.createQuery();

Parameters

None.

Return value

A WebGLQuery object.

Examples

gl must be a WebGL2RenderingContext. WebGLQuery objects are not available in WebGL 1.

var query = gl.createQuery();
