WebGL2RenderingContext: deleteVertexArray() method

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since September 2021.

Note: This feature is available in Web Workers.

The WebGL2RenderingContext.deleteVertexArray() method of the WebGL 2 API deletes a given WebGLVertexArrayObject object.

Syntax

deleteVertexArray(vertexArray)

Parameters

vertexArray

A WebGLVertexArrayObject (VAO) object to delete.

Return value

None (undefined).

Examples

const vao = gl.createVertexArray();
gl.bindVertexArray(vao);

gl.deleteVertexArray(vao);
