HTMLElement: blur() method

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.

The HTMLElement.blur() method removes keyboard focus from the current element.

Syntax

Parameters

None.

Return value

None (undefined).

Examples

Remove focus from a text input
