HTMLTableCellElement: vAlign property

Avoid using this feature in new projects. Some table styling attributes have no effect. They are superseded by CSS. This feature may be a candidate for removal from web standards or browsers.
The vAlign property of the HTMLTableCellElement interface is a string indicating how to vertically align text in a <th> or <td> table cell.
Note:
This property is deprecated. Use the CSS vertical-align property to vertically align text in a cell instead.
Value
The possible values are: "top", "middle", "bottom", or "baseline"
top-
Align the text to the top of the cell. Use
vertical-align: topinstead. center-
Vertically center the text in the cell. Synonym of
middle. Usevertical-align: middleinstead. middle-
Vertically center the text in the cell. Use
vertical-align: middleinstead. bottom-
Align the text to the bottom of the cell. Use
vertical-align: bottominstead. baseline-
Similar to
top, but align the baseline of the text as close to the top so no part of the character is outside of the cell.

Use CSS vertical-align instead, which takes precedence, as demonstrated in the vertical alignment table cells example.
