This article needs a technical review. How you can help.

The onmouseenter property sets and returns the event handler for the mouseenter event.

Syntax

element.onmouseenter = handlerFunction;
var handlerFunction = element.onmouseenter;

handlerFunction should be either null or a JavaScript function specifying the handler for the event.

Notes

See the DOM event handlers page for information on working with on... handlers.

The mouseenter event is fired when a pointing device (usually a mouse) is moved over the element that has the listener attached.
