SpeechSynthesisVoice: name property

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since September 2018.

The name read-only property of the SpeechSynthesisVoice interface returns a human-readable name that represents the voice.

Value

A string representing the name of the voice.
