SpeechSynthesisEvent: charIndex property

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since September 2018.
The charIndex
read-only property of the SpeechSynthesisUtterance
interface returns the index position of the character in SpeechSynthesisUtterance.text
that was being spoken when the event was triggered.

A number.
