    GlobalEventHandlers.onabort

    An event handler for abort events sent to the window. (Not available with Firefox 2 or Safari)

    TODO define what "abort" is. Closing the window via window manager? Stopping the load of the page? By which means and reasons (user, network/server)? At which stages would it fire / be catched? For IE, onabort is only available with img tags.

    Syntax

    window.onabort =funcRef

    • funcRef: Reference to a function

    Example

    window.onabort = function() {
      alert("Load aborted.");
    }

    Specification

    DOM Level 0. Not part of any standard. This doesn't actually explain when this handler gets fired
