Widely available
This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since January 2023.
The <msqrt> MathML element is used to display square roots (no index is displayed). The square root accepts only one argument, which leads to the following syntax: <msqrt> base </msqrt>.
Attributes
This element accepts the global MathML attributes.
