Credential.type

This is an experimental technology
Check the Browser compatibility table carefully before using this in production.

The type property of the Credential interface returns a DOMString containing the credential's type. Valid values are password and federated.

Syntax

var credType = Credential.type;

Value

A DOMString contains a credential's given name.
