Mozilla developers tend to use "XXX" to mark things that they want to do in the code, instead of something like "TODO" or "FIXME". If one looks for these in the sources, it can be either extremely enlightening, or amazingly confusing. Or both.

Examples of this usage can be found by using the Mozilla Cross Reference (MXR) tool search for xxx.
