Web development is comprised of all aspects of developing a web site or web application.

Documentation

Migrate apps from Internet Explorer to Mozilla
Doron Rosenberg tells you how to make sure your web applications work in both IE and Mozilla.
Using URL values for the cursor property
Gecko 1.8 (Firefox 1.5, SeaMonkey 1.0) supports URL values for the CSS2 cursor property, which allows you to specify arbitrary images as mouse cursors.
Using Firefox 1.5 caching
Firefox 1.5 caches entire Web pages, including their JavaScript states, in memory. Going backward and forward between visited pages requires no page loading and the JavaScript states are preserved. This feature makes page navigation very fast.
Browser Detection and Cross Browser Support
This article reviews several approaches to browser detection and their usefulness in specific circumstances to arrive at a common sense approach to browser detection.
Defining Cross-Browser Tooltips
Authors are used to using the alt attribute to create "tooltips" in Web browsers. The classic example is a "tooltip" of an image; when the user pauses the mouse pointer over an image, the contents of the alt attribute are displayed as a "tooltip." Gecko-based browsers do not support this behavior.
