HTML Line Break Element

...<br> - The HTML Line Break element produces a line break in text (carriage-return).

Example

       Here is one sentence. <br>
       Here is another sentence.

Result

Here is one sentence.
Here is another sentence.

Notes

Although not required by HTML, the line break element must receive a closing tag in XHTML therefore making the tag for this element <br />.
