The ::-ms-value CSS pseudo-element is a Microsoft extension that applies rules to the value of a text or password <input> control or the content of a <select> control.

Allowable Properties

Only the following CSS properties can be used in a rule with ::-ms-value in its selector. Other properties are ignored.

To disable the default styling:
