    This feature is not on a current W3C standards track, but it is supported on the Firefox OS platform. Although implementations may change in the future and it is not supported widely across browsers, it is suitable for use in code dedicated to Firefox OS apps.

    This API is available on Firefox OS for privileged or certified applications only.

    Summary

    The tel property is a list of all the possible phone numbers for the contact.

    Syntax

    var phone = instanceOfMozContact.tel

    Value

    Return an Array of TelField objects.

    TelField

    Those objects are regular JavaScript objects, each representing a phone number with the following properties:

    type
    An Array of strings representing the type for that phone number (e.g., "home", "work").
    pref
    A boolean indicating if it is the preferred phone number (true) or not (false).
    value
    A string representing the phone number itself.
    carrier
    A string representing the phone number's carrier.
