This feature is not on a current W3C standards track, but it is supported on the Firefox OS platform. Although implementations may change in the future and it is not supported widely across browsers, it is suitable for use in code dedicated to Firefox OS apps.
getWakeLockState method is used to retrieve the current lock state of a given resource.
- A string that represent the name of the resource to check.
This method will return a string that represents the current lock state for the resource. Possible values for this state are:
- Nobody holds the wake lock.
- At least one window holds the wake lock and is visible.
- At least one window holds the wake lock, but all of them are hidden.
