This feature is not on a current W3C standards track, but it is supported on the Firefox OS platform. Although implementations may change in the future and it is not supported widely across browsers, it is suitable for use in code dedicated to Firefox OS apps.

This API is available on Firefox OS for internal applications only.


The MozNetworkStats object gives access to statistics about the data usage for a given network.

MozNetworkStats objects are obtained through a call to the MozNetworkStatsManager.getNetworkStats() method.


MozNetworkStats.connectionType Read only
A string representing the connection type or null. Read only
An array of MozNetworkStatsData objects.
MozNetworkStats.start Read only
A date representing the time of the first MozNetworkStatsData object.
MozNetworkStats.end Read only
A date representing the time of the last MozNetworkStatsData object.
