This feature is not on a current W3C standards track, but it is supported on the Firefox OS platform. Although implementations may change in the future and it is not supported widely across browsers, it is suitable for use in code dedicated to Firefox OS apps.

This API is available on Firefox OS for privileged or certified applications only.

Summary

The MozMobileNetworkInfo interface allows access to information related to the network carrier. The navigator.mozMobileConnection uses it through its voice.network and data.network properties.

A string representing the long name of the network operator.
MozMobileNetworkInfo.mcc Read only
A number representing the Mobile Country Code (MCC) of the network operator.
MozMobileNetworkInfo.mnc Read only
A number representing the Mobile Network Code (MNC) of the network operator.
MozMobileNetworkInfo.shortName Read only
A string representing the short name of the network operator.
MozMobileNetworkInfo.state Read only
A string that gives the state of the network operator.
