    This feature is not on a current W3C standards track, but it is supported on the Firefox OS platform. Although implementations may change in the future and it is not supported widely across browsers, it is suitable for use in code dedicated to Firefox OS apps.

    The DOM MozMobileMessageThread object represents a thread of messages.

    Properties Read only
    Returns a number representing the id of the thread.
    MozMobileMessageThread.body Read only
    Returns a DOMString with the message body of the last message in the thread.
    MozMobileMessageThread.unreadCount Read only
    Returns a number representing the total unread messages in the thread.
    MozMobileMessageThread.participants Read only
    Returns an array of DOMString representing the addresses of each participant to the thread.
    MozMobileMessageThread.timestamp Read only
    Returns a Date object with the timestamp of the last message in the thread.
    MozMobileMessageThread.lastMessageType Read only
    Returns a DOMString which can either be sms or mms.


    This is a nonstandard implementation, but it is discussed at W3C as part of the System Application Working Group.

    Browser compatibility

    For obvious reasons, support is primarily expected on mobile browsers.
