    MozMmsMessage.deliveryStatus

This article is in need of a technical review.

    « DOM Reference

    Non-standard
This feature is not on a current W3C standards track, but it is supported on the Firefox OS platform. Although implementations may change in the future and it is not supported widely across browsers, it is suitable for use in code dedicated to Firefox OS apps.

This API is available on Firefox OS for certified applications only.

    Summary

The deliveryStatus property represents the current state of the message delivery from the recipient's perspective.

    Syntax

    var delivery = instanceOfMozMmsMessage.deliveryStatus;

    Value

An Array of strings (one for each recipient) which can be one of the following:

    • pending        : The message is awaiting delivery.
    • success        : The message has been sent by the device.
    • error          : The message could not be delivered.
    • not-applicable : The message has been sent without status report requisition.

The values of that property are conditioned by the value of the MozMmsMessage.delivery property:

    delivery deliveryStatus
    sending pending
    not-applicable
    sent pending
    success
    error
    not-applicable
The following is pointless as deliveryStatus has no real meaning when receiving a message
    not-download success
    received success
    error error
