    HTMLIFrameElement.reload()

    Non-standard
    This feature is not on a current W3C standards track, but it is supported on the Firefox OS platform. Although implementations may change in the future and it is not supported widely across browsers, it is suitable for use in code dedicated to Firefox OS apps.

    This API is available on Firefox OS for privileged or certified applications only.

    Summary

    The reload method is used to reload the content of the <iframe>.

    Note: Hard reload is currently buggy and only the main HTML document will be revalidated instead of all the resources. See bug 831153 for details.

    Syntax

    instanceOfHTMLIframeElement.reload(hardReload);

    Parameters

    hardReload
    A boolean that indicates if all the resources to reload must be revalidated (true) or taken directly from the browser cache (false).

    Specification

    Not part of any specification.
