Transforming_XML_with_XSLT

regarding your change: (p?title=Transforming_XML_with_XSLT), I have gone ahead and removed the 'missing' link from the document itself. According to Google Web Cache () the page in question was very out of date anyway, and based on a (very rough) google Search () I cannot find a new version of the document. --Callek 21:58, 29 June 2006 (PDT)

Main page discussion page protected

You an admin here? Could you unprotect the discussion (talk) page for the Main page. There is a suggestion I would like to make on its layout. Thanks. --Pmsyyz 14:09, 11 November 2006 (PST)

You can post your suggestion to the mailing list. Too many people were using that talk page for user/webdev questions. --Nickolay 09:22, 12 November 2006 (PST)

[XBL:XBL 1.0 Reference]

Talk:XBL:XBL_1.0_Reference

Sorry about my poor english. h1 markup tags used by media wiki.(other wiki implementaions do too.) so wiki users do not use h1 markup ('='). I think that {{ mediawiki.external('XBL:XBL 1.0 Reference') }} must be replaced '=' with '=='. --{{ CN/Sig() }}

Suggestion: Highlighting changes in the Recent Changes RSS feed

Hi, it would be great if the Recent Changes RSS feed used color to highlight the differences between revisions. The page history already does this and as this example shows, it makes a subtle changes much easier to see. Hamstersoup 02:28, 16 March 2007 (PDT)

Signing a XPI

Eric, can you please comment in the talk section on whether or not we can use this article? BTW, sheppy at mozilla dot com bounces... you might want to update your email address on your user page --Eric H. Jung (Grimholtz) 11:19, 2 May 2007

Interesting -- sheppy at mozilla dot com used to work. Guess the alias went away when they replaced our mail server software a while back. Thanks for letting me know. I've commented on the talk page for the XPI article. --Sheppy 09:40, 2 May 2007 (PDT)

Post upgrade issues

  • After upgrade MediaWiki the redirects doesn't work. For example: Markup validation service - W3C (external) Ptak82 12:22, 9 May 2007 (PDT)
    • Redirects are fixed on developer-stage; making this change live has been submitted to IT.
  • Another problem is with templates in XUL Reference. For example: XUL:tabpanels (on this side are visible fragments of code)
<span id="a-selectedIndex" />
and doesn't work anchors. Ptak82 17:14, 9 May 2007 (PDT)

I've filed a couple of requests with IT to check on some settings that may be the cause for these issues. See bugs {{ Bug("380309") }} and bug {{ Bug("380312") }}. Sheppy 14:03, 10 May 2007 (EDT)

I've also filed bug {{ Bug("380323") }} because the edit toolbar is missing at present. This is fixed; toolbars are back.

Breadcrumbs

Online/Offline_Events has weird breadcrumbs on the top. --Nickolay 02:33, 11 May 2007 (PDT)

Yeah, I've noticed some weird breadcrumbs stuff. Given that we're working toward replacing the breadcrumbs stuff sometime in the next handful of weeks anyway, I'm not really intending to put any effort into figuring it out and fixing it. --Sheppy 07:32, 11 May 2007 (PDT)
That's not our breadcrumbs, that's something mediawiki provides. We need to figure out a way to turn that off or rename the page. --Nickolay 06:41, 12 May 2007 (PDT)

Restored content

I restored all sides which were damaged. It isn't possible somehow or other to block these users? Ptak82 11:15, 27 May 2007 (PDT)

We've blocked them but the bots keep creating new accounts. I've filed a ticket with IT to try to find a solution. --Sheppy 11:16, 27 May 2007 (PDT)

Turns out that email confirmation hadn't been turned on like it supposedly had been. That's been done as of 10:50 AM PDT on Sunday, May 27, 2007. Hopefully that's put a stop to it.

Ptak82 -- thank you for fixing all of those! I appreciate it! --Sheppy 11:22, 27 May 2007 (PDT)

Inherited properites and methods in the JavaScript Reference

Nickolay suggested I should ask you to look at something I brought up on his talk page about documenting inherited properties and methods in the JavaScript Reference. What are your thoughts? -- Sevenspade 22:48, 14 December 2007 (PST)

Deletions without discussion

You have deleted MDC:Administrators. Various special pages have hardwired links to this page as noted in the edit history and on the (minimal) page itself. The same goes for MDC:Bureaucrats, I redirected it to MDC:Administrator, deleting only the target of a redirection makes no sense.

You also deleted MDC:Project with a plausible explanation, again without notification. How many users here know the secrets of the deletion logs to figure out who deleted why what they created, and why don't you go on and delete also my account? --Frank 08:05, 28 April 2008 (PDT)

Those pages were deleted because they were created out of the blue in a special namespace without prior discussion on the dev-mdc newsgroup. --Sheppy 08:09, 28 April 2008 (PDT)

Localization for Romania ( Ro )

I want to translate MDC in Romanian and I want to start the RO localization. Contact Email: silviubogan@yahoo.com.
Thanks silviubogan 11:58, 10 August 2008 (PDT)

I'm all in favor of this! We'll be launching our new wiki in a few days. We'll get you set up there as soon as possible! --Sheppy 07:21, 11 August 2008 (PDT)
Thank you! silviubogan 23:58, 11 August 2008 (PDT)
And now, because the migration is finished, I must create a normal page which will be the home page in Romanian? I don't think that it is so simple. Silviubogan 20 Aug 2008
