General

Hello, my name is Tadej Persic (Tadej Peršič to be precise, or fully Ivan Tadej Peršič or even Ivan Tadej Peršič-Kandus) and I am a 27 years old male, born on July 13 1980. I grew up in Ljubljana (a small green town), Slovenia, which is a country located in the heart of European Union. I am a student at the College for Architecture, which is a part of the University in Ljubljana.

With regard to computers, I am interested in just about everything related to basic programming and scripting, like batch programming, Vbscript, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Python, ABC, etc.), while I also enjoy customizing and tweaking my operating system(s) and similar. I mainly use Windows XP, but occasionally I also use Linux (the Slackware linux distribution|distribution). Otherwise I like mystics and stuff, I like to listen to various types of music, watch movies and television series; South Park, Dilbert, Futurama and Simpsons are my favorites. In my spare time, I also like to browse the World Wide Web (news and techy sites, post on various Internet forums), go to the nature, meet with my friends, and smoke herb.

/EDIT: I use a nick "Satyr-wayfarer" because my nick-name on Mozillazine, Lost In The Box, and CastleCops forums is satyr: userinfo-satyr.html, viewprofile&u=31896, while on all the Wikis it's Wayfarer: User:Wayfarer at "en.wikipedia.org", Uporabnik:Wayfarer at "sl.wikipedia.org", User:Wayfarer at "en.wikinews.org", User:Wayfarer at "www.sourcewatch.org"; well, except for the last two created Wiki-accounts: User:Satyr-wayfarer at "wiki.castlecops.com" and User:Satyr-wayfarer at "wiki.bb4win.org".

Web-Stuff

As first a link to my Wikinews user home-page: User:Wayfarer, and as second a link to my user-page on Slovenian variant of Wikipedia encyclopedia: Uporabnik:Wayfarer, see here for the main site: Glavna stran. Further in the indented paragraph below, there are also listed links to various variants of my home Website. All my websites and my blog are licensed under a Creative Commons license, and was created and are maintained only by me, mostly "typed-by-hands" with a bit of copy/paste in few cases of JavaSript.

My general site and my blogs:

As first, here are the links to my main general personal website (i.e. it's not strictly computing, nor strictly non-computing related), which is basically just a some sort of a navigational website that only describes and lists links to my other websites and blogs: http://tadejpersic.50webs.com (english), http://tadejpersic.awardspace.com (slovenian), and secondly, here are the links to my main: http://tadej.sopca.com, and to old: http://tayiper.blog.volja.net blogs, both are in the slovenian language; for my english blogs see the right sidebar (where it says "Blogi, strani") on my blog on Sopca website.

The three main site-variants:

Here are the links to four more or less "clean" variants (some more, some less) of my home-site hosted on "free hosts", i.e. they mostly contain no popups or banner-ads, then they are W3C-valid and the most visited ones: http://users.volja.net/tayiper, http://tadej-ivan.50webs.com, http://satyrhosts.bravehost.com (note that there is one another hosted at "Atspace", but this Wiki's Spam protection filter doesn't allow me to post it); these sites are almost identical, with only slight differences in site-code, like the differences in inner-links, host-specific banners etc.

The four other site-variants:

And there are also few others in the hierarchy of ultimate site's purity, mostly with few popups (pretty annoying), and with quite a few banner-ads, then they are too W3C-validated, but only "locally" in their original form (as stored on my hard-disk), because the code that some of the free-host add unfortunately screws the otherwise valid syntax: http://shirker.freehost386.com, http://www.geocities.com/tayi137, http://www.satyrhosts2.greatnow.com. Oh, and there is also another one hosted at "Freewebs" which is totally out-dated (it's my first site in fact); while it is also not quite interesting (and Wiki's Spam protection filter also doesn't allow me to post it)

/UPDATE: And here are also four "redirecting" links to the sites listed in the above paragraph: http://www.tadej-ivan.be (or simply http://tadej-ivan.be), http://www.tadej-ivan.tk, http://www.ivan-tadej.tk, http://takeoff.to/ivan-tadej. When/if I will created new ones, I will list them here when I'll have some spare time.

The site(s) was/were not made with pre-built templates or even worse, written with "make-your-webpage-in-5-minutes" type of program. Also note that the emphasis is not on the site's outlook but on its content. I've simply tried to make it as simple and fast-loading as possible. Therefore I only use HTML/JavaScript and a bit of CSS (so there is no "fancy" code), without unnecessary empty spaces or carriage returns. In general, the site is about important computing-related things that I've discovered so far. Like for instance, I listed my personal principles, rules, tips, hints, my various favorite programs (and their usages) etc., while I've tried to make an unique site, which would express those other practical things that you learn after using your computer for some time. I just didn't want to make another site with well-known "tweaks" and widely-used security programs listed (like there are many out there already)
