General

I am a 25 years old male, born on July 13 1980. I grew up in Ljubljana (a small green town), Slovenija | Image:Slovenia flag 300.png|20px, which is a country located in the heart of European Union. I am a student at the College for Architecture, which is a part of the University in Ljubljana.

With regard to computers, I am interested in just about everything related to basic programming and scripting, like batch programming, Vbscript, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Python, ABC, etc.), while I also enjoy custumizing and tweaking my operating system(s) and similar. I mainly use Windows XP, but occasionally I also use Linux (the Slackware linux distribution|distribution). Otherwise I like mystics and stuff, I like to listen to various types of music, watch movies and television series; South Park, Dilbert, Futurama and Simpsons are my favorites. In my spare time, I also like to browse the World Wide Web (news and techy sites, post on various Internet forums), go to the nature, meet with my friends, and smoke herb.

/EDIT: I use a nick "Satyr-wayfarer" because my nick-name on Mozillazine and CastleCops forums is satyr: userinfo-satyr.html, viewprofile&u=31896, however, on all Wikis it is Wayfarer: User:Wayfarer at "en.wikipedia", Uporabnik:Wayfarer at "sl.wikipedia", User:Wayfarer at "en.wikinews", User:Wayfarer at "www.sourcewatch.org"

Web-Stuff

As first a link to my Wikinews user home-page: User:Wayfarer, and as second a link to my user-page on Slovenian variant of Wikipedia encyclopedia: Uporabnik:Wayfarer, see here for the main site: Glavna stran. Further in the indented paragraph below, there are also listed links to four variants of my home Website. The four sites are almost identical, with only slight differences in site-code, like for instance the differences in inner-links, host-specific banners etc. The site is licensed under a Creative Commons license, and was created and is maintained only by me, mostly "typed-by-hands" with a bit of copy/paste in few cases of JavaSript.

The three main site-variants:

As first, there are three the most cleanest variants from all my sites (hosted on "free hosts", I didn't post one of them because of the "spam filter"); mostly with no popups or banner-ads, W3c-validated and the most visited ones: http://users.volja.net/tayiper, http://satyrhosts.bravehost.com

The four other site-variants:

And as second, there are also few other site-variants in the hierarchy of ultimate site's purity, mostly with few popups (pretty annoying), and with quite few banner-adds, and non-W3c-validated (because of the code added by host-servers): http://shirker.freehost386.com, http://www.geocities.com/tayi137, http://www.satyrhosts2.greatnow.com. Oh, and there is also another, which is a very out-dated one (my first site in fact); and also it's not quite interesting: http://www.freewebs.com/satyrhosts

/EDIT: And recently I've created few new ones and will list them when I will have some spare time. I will only post two "redirecting" links to the sites (the "Volja" and "Bravehost" in particular) mentioned in the above paragraph: http://www.ivan-tadej.tk, http://takeoff.to/ivan-tadej

The site(s) was/were not made with pre-built templates or even worse, writen with "make-your-webpage-in-5-minutes" type of program. Also note that the emphasis is not on the site's outlook but on its content. I've simply tried to make it as simple and fast-loading as possible. Therefore I only use HTML/JavaScript and a bit of CSS (so there is no "fancy" code), without unnecessary empty spaces or carriage returns. In general, the site is about important computing-related things that I've discovered so far. Like for instance, I listed my personal principles, rules, tips, hints, my various favorite programs (and their usages) etc., while I've tried to make an unique site, which would express those other practical things that you learn after using your computer for some time. I just didn't want to make another site with well-known "tweaks" and widely-used security programs listed (like there are many out there already)
