About Me

The grammar here stinks... I really need to write a better "About Me" My name is Justin Wood, I hack on Mozilla's codebase for "fun", as well as lend my (limited) experience where I can. If you need to contact me, you can use my e-mail address Callek@gmail.com or if it is devmo related, you can make a choice if it would be best served with more than just my opinion, and mail devmo-general@mozilla.org .

My Contributed Work Copyright Information

Unless explicitly written otherwise (in-page, or at my user page here), the Mozilla Foundation is granted all rights associated with my work (so far as the developers wiki [here]). There is a minor nit I have regarding this grant of rights, though it needs to be worded properly, so until such time as it is, the above holds 100% true.

To-Do

  • Figure out a way to enumerate Redirect Pages, even if it requires editing them. (May involve a custom Special: page.)
  • Better Breadcrumbing, possibly via an updated Breadcrumbs extension (initially written by Shaver) or a new <parent> extension. {{template.Bug(311823)}}
  • Consider reasons-for, and ability-to implement a new caching system for mediawiki, that extensions may tie into (for example, "uncache on page move" for default <breadcrumbs></breadcrumbs> will make next page visit regen the page. Or a "uncache on custom reason" for when an externally included page {{mediawiki.external('if we use the extension')}} changes. This may need to be tied into official MediaWiki first if it is even possible. (probably not needed)
  • Various Cleanup.
  • Purchase and read when done consult with deb and others about listing it on MDC (or not).
