The Graphics Command Line Interface (GCLI) provides a command-line interface to the Firefox developer tools. It's shared with the Eclipse project.

Note: To enable GCLI, you need to set the devtools.toolbar.enabled Boolean preference to true.

Activating the GCLI toolbar

To open the GCLI toolbar, choose the option Tools > Web Developer > Developer Toolbar, or on press Ctrl-Shift-V (Cmd-Opt-V on Mac OS X). The toolbar itself looks like this:

The prompt for the command line is on the left, and on the right are buttons that open the Web Console and the Page Inspector.

Using the command line

Here are a list of a few key commands Firefox provides for the command line:

help
Provides help for the command line. This command will be your best friend.
tilt
Provides support for activating and controlling the Page Inspector's 3D view.

For now, see the GitHub-based documentation; more details will be added here in the future.
