Creating toolbar buttons

Outdated?

While trying to learn how to create a toolbar extension, I've used the sample code provided in this article. Unfortunately the code provided by this article isn't valid (there is no such thing as a tooltiptext toolbar attribute in Firefox 1.5).

So, when will this article be submitted to an overall? --RuiMaciel 17:07, 4 March 2006 (PST)

Huh? The tooltiptext attribute is common to all XUL elements. See http://www.xulplanet.com/references/...ULElement.html.

I don't know about the tooltiptext, but yeah, this article is looking a bit long in the tooth. I've got exactly the problem in the troubleshooting section, and I followed all the instructions, and I'm still having troubles. It's definitely got to be my problem (user error) but it would be nice to see an overhaul here. I'll see if there's anything I can update, or integrate while I wait -JustinHall 11:53, 1 February 2007 (PST)
