Recent changes section usefulness?

The recent changes list is useless. It looked like this just a few minutes ago:

   * Talk:Mozilla Developer Center Contents
   * Special:Log/protect
   * Category talk:All Categories
   * Talk:XSLT
   * XSLT

Could anyone explain me who's interested in such a list? I mean, it's useless for devmo contributors, who need to track the real Recent changes page anyways (it has explanations, and there are quite a lot of changes happening to the wiki). And it's useless for regular visitors - in the above example there are three 'talk' pages and one 'special' page of five. For someone who isn't familiar with wikis, this looks like a junk, and even if we filter the list to show only changes in the main namespace, five recent changes is few.

    • Good point Nickolay, and thanks. We've removed Recent changes from the front page content. -- dria 13:38, 8 September 2005 (PDT)
