How Mozilla's build system works

Need some docs here (or on a separate page) too. Some wise words from timeless in the meantime:

<timeless> is a shim to make things faster by doing things up front
<timeless> we have a rule that says if DIRS = foo, then make sure foo/Makefile exists
<timeless> and foo/Makefile depends on foo/
<timeless> so we'll regenerate feeds/Makefile from the components/Makefile
<timeless> things *should* be in allmakefiles
<timeless> but they can get away w/ not being :(
