This should not be a portal-type of page (it's not even clear what kind of information should go here). Instead it should contain information about what gecko is and link to project docs and gecko information for web developers and for hackers.

This is needed so that we can write "Gecko supports[...]" and be sure that people can follow the link and read that it means that we talk about all gecko-based products. --Nickolay 01:33, 5 Aug 2005 (PDT)

Surely Mozilla owns the Gecko trademark by now, right?

It seems like the Gecko DOM reference is a good link to put in the documentation section, so I put it there. Unfortunately I messed up the formatting slightly so there's some extra spaces - if anyone can fix it I would appreciate it. Also, the "View all" link needs to be fixed. The table on this page showing gecko versions and the corresponding versions of apps like firefox, thunderbird, etc. is very useful for the developers. It should include entries for Thunderbird 3.2, 3.3 and Firefox 4.2 (which uses Gecko 2.2) too. If there is any easy way to find this info I can edit that too.
