Using a hidden XUL iframe (complete example)

I don't see how this is related to translating text to HTML DOM like in the first example. Shouldn't this be a different page? --ericjung 13:16, 16 April 2008 (PDT)

If you feel it goes on another page, feel free to move it / propose a new location. As I see it, this is a method to get a DOM representation of an html/xhtml/whatevermozillacanparse file/page when XmlHttpRequest is not usable. For example, I needed to use DOM functions on the MLDonkey HTML results for it's web-based backend. XmlHttpRequest couldn't handle it. The best shot was to use XUL:iframe / XUL:browser. So, basicly, it's a method to parse HTML to a DOM representation. --buanzo 21.33, 16 April 2008 (ART)
