MozNFCTag.close()

The close() method of the MozNFCTag interface closes a current NFC Tag session.

Note: This is currently unused, as only NDEF-compatible tags are currently supported.

Syntax

DOMRequest close();

Example

// retrive a valid nfcTag
var conn = nfctag.connect("NDEF");

conn.onsuccess = function() {
  var req = nfctag.readNDEF();
  req.onsuccess = function() {
    var records = req.result;
    showRecords(records);
    nfctag.close(); // This is a DOMRequest call, truncated code here.
  };
  req.onerror = function() {
    console.log("Error status: " + this.error.name);
    nfctag.close(); // This is a DOMRequest call, truncated code here.
