My first name is Asmaa and as we all are in the medical field, you can imagine how many people make fun of my name, including patients and co-workers. I chose the adjective ''adaptable'' which describes me best, because of my ability to face obstacles and challenges with ease and objectivity.
I've been living in montreal for 12 years and I've been a nurse for 4 years now. I work in the emergency department at the JGH. I love my profession, It helped me discover myself and extend my limits. I usually work 6 days in a row so that I can have 8 days off. I do pull off crazy hours at work but my passion for what I do, makes it all worth it.
I'm a ballroom dancer, one of my many passions. The only time where I'm carefree and truly happy is when i'm floating around the dance floor with my partner.
Doing my BScN has always been part of my plans. Obviously to acquire more knowledge, experience and even more confidence but most importantly to open more doors in the medical field.
