CameraControl.onClosed Redirect 1

« DOM Reference

This feature is non-standard and is not on a standards track. Do not use it on production sites facing the Web: it will not work for every user. There may also be large incompatibilities between implementations and the behavior may change in the future.

This API is available on Firefox OS for certified applications only.

The onClosed property is used to set an event handler that will track when a new CameraControl object in the same app takes over the camera.

instanceOfCameraControl.onClosed = funcRef;

Where funcRef is a function to be called when the camera is taken over by another CameraControl object.

var options = {
  camera: navigator.mozCameras.getListOfCameras()[0]
function onSuccess( camera ) {
  camera.onClosed = function () {
    console.log("This object is no longer able to use that camera");

navigator.mozCameras.getCamera(options, onSuccess)

Not part of any specification; however, this API should be removed when the WebRTC Capture and Stream API has been implemented.
