Summary: mozilla.dev.quality - October 20-October 27, 2006
- Firefox & Thunderbird 126.96.36.199 candidate builds available for testing! - With Firefox 2.0 out the door, it's time to make sure that all 1.5.0.x users are updated with the latest and greatest in stability and security fixes! Testers are needed.
- Need to unit test innerHTML - Someone needs to unit test innerHTML. He recommends that a non-XPCShell environment is needed really badly, but the big issue is that the XPCShell doesn't have an event loop, so nothing asynchronous can be tested.
- Cross-domain testing - Someone is suggesting that there needs to be some way of running cross-domain tests (security, web compat, etc), and is wondering if it's possible with the current test HTTP server?
- Update welcome page - A bug has been discovered when updating to Firefox 2.0. When the special homepage comes up after updating Firefox, the "go to your homepage" button doesn't work when multipliable tabs are set as homepage.
