Talk:XUL:toolbarpalette

From MDC

NeedsTechnicalReview: just want to verify that "Firefox only" is correct.

It appears to be in Sunbird and Thunderbird, I believe it is part of toolkit itself. I am unsure how you would want that worded here. --Callek 22:38, 21 June 2006 (PDT)
I believe almost all the references to "Firefox only" and "Mozilla only" actually mean to point out differences between the "new" toolkit[*] (as used by Firefox, Thunderbird, Sunbird, hopefully SeaMonkey 1.5, etc.) and older XPFE code used by the Mozilla Suite and pre-toolkit versions of SeaMonkey. I'm not sure if we should document the old XUL dialect, as it's dying anyway, but we definitely should use something less confusing than "Firefox only" to mark toolkit-specific XUL.
[*] it's not that easy, as (if I remember correctly) Thundebird, for example, used to use older autocomplete APIs while being mostly a toolkit app. --Nickolay 01:20, 22 June 2006 (PDT)
