I'm trying to understand the basic definition of XBL. From the first summary at the top of the page, it sounds like it's an XML implementation of the Decorator Design Pattern. Is this correct?

If so, I recommend saying so somewhere in the top summary. It would be another channel for developers learning about XBL to go, "Oh, okay, I get it," so they can put that question to rest in their mind as they read on.
