Talk:Theme changes in Firefox 2

From MDC

While this document will be quite useful for theme authors, the text on this page is fairly misleading. It implies that certain CSS rules need to be added or removed, when if fact, whether they do or not is theme specific. What is more relevant is whether the XUL elements the CSS rules reference have been removed, or whether new elements have been added.

Is the new revision better? It lists the XUL changes in the browser that might affect themes. We still need a good how-to guide for updating themes, but I'm afraid I've never done any theming, so I'm not the best person to write one. If someone else were to write one (or even just jot down some notes), I'd be happy to help edit it or otherwise get it presentable.--Sheppy 07:43, 31 August 2006 (PDT)

Question: I have an extension that creates some icons which match the default Firefox 1.5 theme. Now I want to update the icons to match the default Firefox 2.0 theme. If the 1.5 theme is called 'classic/1.0' what is the 2.0 theme called? --Muxxa 06:25, 25 October 2006 (PDT)

[edit] scrollbox.css

Why there's two sentences read "you may wish to change blah blah" in scrollbox.css section? Is there anything different between the 1st part and the 2nd part of the rules? --柏強 聯絡我 21:05, 26 December 2006 (PST)
