Talk:HTML:Element
From MDC
[edit] INPUT
I have a question about how gecko parses the INPUT tag. In IE I would write 4 buttons next to one another and they would be layed out just how it looks in my HTML editor. In Firefox I see that my same 4 buttons are layed on top of one another. To fix that I would have to put my buttons in its own table cell. Is that the correct way?

[edit] Content of HTML:Element
- Where are sources texts of HTML:Element? I found similar page on devege online - documentation. Adress of this site: http://devedge-temp.mozilla.org/library/manuals/1998/htmlguide/. Can I migrate that site to MDC? Ptak82 17:39, 20 April 2006 (PDT)
- Why don't we take this to the list for discussion, but as a brief statement, I feel that devedge page may be (very) out of date "at least Netscape 4.0" last updated in 1997...etc. Sure html has not changed all that much, but it could use a (heavy) revamp, imho. Given that all "devedge-temp" content should be, theoretically, ok to move here. --Callek 19:57, 20 April 2006 (PDT)
- For tags that I didn't know much about, I've been using this reference a bit. It's obviously not okay to just migrate the information, but getting an understand for the tags then summarizing or paraphrasing should be fine. Rappo 21:16, 20 April 2006 (PDT)

[edit] That is this?
- Hi. I am a writer of Spanish version of es:HTML:Elemento. Sorry for my bad english.
Of what say HTML:Element?: says "This is an alphabetical list of the HTML Elements." What html? html 2, 3.2, 4, 4.01, xhtml 1.0, 1.1, non-w3c-elements, all? (all no, mixed no, please).
Speak about general html? did speech of some specific html? Depending on as you define html the list will change. What is html? what is an element? who defines these things? (w3c, please).--Jorolo 16:55, 17 August 2006 (PDT)
