Talk:Extensions:Thunderbird
From MDC
I don't think Thunderbird extensions really need their own whole topic page. We should probably just remove this page and move the Thunderbird extension docs being written part of the universal "Extensions" page. It'll be easy to move the article pages, so shouldn't cause any problems for anyone.
Thanks for your help, by the way! We're very much lacking documentation about how to create Thunderbird extensions :)

Sorry about the slow response to this. Unfortunately building extensions for Firefox and Thunderbird are different - sometimes totally and sometimes only subtly. The first stage of my SoC project was to create an extension - and I found it quite hard to find basic documentation. Even the "how-to" guides in places like mozillazine that quote "this will work for both Firefox and Thunderbird" never did. Maybe extensions should be split up into Extensions (General), Extensions:Firefox and Extensions:Thunderbird?
