Nice to see the change; however, this does show the need for tagging these articles with versions or giving some kind of heads up as to what version works in what release.

I am mistaken about the change {kick myself in head}, however, in the case of FF using a nonstandard version of the API, if and when they support the WW3 standard, it would be nice to say that Gecko, Seamonkey, FF versions through Version changed used this slightly different API and subsequent versions used the WW3 standard. --GMGJ 08:09, 21 April 2007 (PDT)
