My installation of Firefox 1.5.0.7 does not "use the color specified by the border property" if "the border is wider than the number of colors specified for this property". Instead, it duplicates the last color specified by this property.

For example,

RGGG

produces one pixel of red and three pixels of green (not 1 red, 1 green and 2 blue).

I do have quite a few extensions loaded, but I suspect the old code/documentation mismatch has struck yet again. Chris Chittleborough 04:33, 22 October 2006 (PDT)
