To make ease of using <code>[[foo]]</code> and <code>[[Foo|Bar]]</code> would it be feasable to do a template for this, to be helpful has to be easy to recall and short. I suggest code and coden for the normal and extra versions respectively. --Callek 17:59, 30 March 2006 (PST)
It's broken, because it uses <span id="{{{1}}}">, without doing any processing of the id (e.g. " " -> "_"), like wiki headers do. So links to these block-title-generated headers just don't work. For example see en/docs/Creating_XPCOM_Components:Using_XPCOM_Components#Getting_the_CookieManager_Component_in_JavaScript.
I like the idea, perhaps we could get a mediawiki extension that does the required conversion before putting the text in span's id? --Nickolay 01:13, 18 Aug 2005 (PDT)
I have documented the use of non-standard templates. See the brief discussion on Nickolay's talk page for information. I chose the newer, non-standard templates over the original not_standard templates, but I have no deep, emotional attachment to them. Comments? Which are better?
