Support for –disable-places and –disable-places-bookmarks configure flags dropped
Important news for those who play with build configuration switches. The patch for bug 386392 which removes support for the --disable-places and --disable-places-bookmarks configure flags when building Firefox was landed earlier today. The --enable-places flag is still available for use by non-browser applications that want to enable Places, but --disable-places-bookmarks has been removed entirely and will be ignored by the build system.
