Getting a patch checked in
If you’ve written a properly-reviewed, properly-approved, and ready for checkin patch for Mozilla but don’t have commit access yourself, please go to the bug in Bugzilla and add the “checkin-needed” keyword to it. Special instructions regarding the patch (such as needing a branch checkin) should go in the status whiteboard.
This will cause the check-in monkeys to wander by and commit the patch for you within a week or two. If you happen to be one of those checkin monkeys, feel free to handle any patch you see marked this way.
Also, if you happen to see a patch that should have the “checkin-needed” keyword on it but does not, feel free to add it and let the patch author know about the keyword so they can add it themselves in the future.
