1.8 Branch Scheduled!
Hi Folks,
We are currently scheduled to close the cvs tree to commits this Thursday 8/11/2005 at 11:59 PM in preparation for the 1.8 branch. Assuming we get stable builds Friday morning the branch will be performed that day.
The bugs blocking branch are being tracked as dependencies on 300860.
After the branch we will open the tree and will accept checkins for blocker and approved bugs on the branch and trunk. This will also open the trunk for the backlog of more risky changes.
