Deer Park Alpha 2 Released

We’ve now officially released Deer Park Alpha 2. Please download your copy now from one of the following links, and provide us with your feedback!

Windows: Deer Park Setup Alpha 2.exe
Linux: deerpark-alpha2.installer.tar.gz
Mac: Deer Park Alpha 2.dmg

This release of Deer Park contains:

  • Software update system to streamline product upgrades (currently disabled– will be turned on shortly for testing)
  • Faster browser navigation with improvements to back and forward button performance - Fastback
  • Drag-and-drop reordering for browser tabs
  • Improvements to popup blocking
  • Better support for Mac OS X (10.2 and greater) - Safari profile migrator, Aqua compliance and shell service
  • Several security enhancements

We’ve also enabled the Reporter tool by default (From the ‘Help’ menu, select ‘Report Broken Web Site’ ) to help alert us of web sites which are not working properly in Deer Park.

Please report bugs either through the mozilla.org feedback system or Bugzilla.

The trunk is still frozen but now open for approved check-ins.
