Deer Park Alpha 2 Release Candidates
On Sunday we posted a set of release candidates for Deer Park Alpha 2 (1.8b3). This release milestone includes all major and significant features, whether pref’d on or off in order to achieve wider testing and to solicit quality feedback. This release will also be targeted at Extension, theme and web application developers to begin compatibility and feature testing in advance of Firefox 1.1.

Final UI changes and l10n dependencies will be resolved following the release of Alpha 2, as we push toward “feature complete” and the branch point for Gecko 1.8.
